About Program

Scientific and technological developments and the globalization process that dominates the whole world have led to the necessity of legal science to develop itself and make new expansions. Trade has begun to be transferred to the electronic environment outside the classical procedure and electronic signatures have been started and alternative dispute resolution methods have become more and more widely used apart from the classical judicial procedures. Another aspect of globalization and technology, which has become important for lawyers, is foreign language learning. With the emergence of foreign disputes, many foreign disputes have become an element of foreignness and the importance of foreign language learning has gradually increased in order to follow the legal practices and doctrines in the world more closely.

Learning & Teaching Methods

The Faculty of Law of Cyprus Science University has adopted a multi-dimensional education program that includes the basic compulsory courses that are required to be included in the curriculum of law faculties, in addition to international law and Legal English, as well as virtual courts and clinical courses for practice. Therefore, it is accepted that the students have the necessary professional qualifications in order to find and work in the private sector as well as the state and other public administrations and institutions as well as traditional legal professions such as judgeship, prosecution, notary public, lawyer and legal consultancy. In addition to traditional law courses, we provide our students with the latest information on emerging and rapidly growing areas of law. For this purpose, we offer courses such as International Arbitration Law, Internet Law, International Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, Competition Law, Banking Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights Law and European Union Law at undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to the classical judicial procedures, Alternative Dispute Resolution methods such as arbitration, mediation and mediation, which have a wide range of applications in the world, will be discussed in detail and not only today but also future lawyers will be trained.

Access to Further Studies

Those who successfully complete the undergraduate program of the Department of Law may apply for a master’s degree and / or doctorate in the same department or apply for a master’s degree in other fields.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the Faculty of Law can carry out many tasks including political and social responsibilities, can use the authority or have the status. .In every level of political parties; deputy, minister and so on. in political life; safety office, governor, undersecretary, administrator and so on. at all levels of central and provincial government; in local administrations as president and member; in various units of state-owned enterprises; in associations, foundations, trade unions and other social organizations as members and managers; board member, general manager, auditor, expert or consultant legal counsel and so on. European Court of Human Rights, Court of Cassation, Council of State, Court of Accounts, such as high judicial bodies can take part, starting from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a professional officer can rise to the embassy.
