What are the requirements for Undergraduate degree applications?

Documents Required for Undergraduate Application :

  • High School Diploma: A copy of a high school diploma in English or in Turkish.
  • Official Transcript: A copy of an official transcript and its translated copy (English or Turkish).
  • Exam Result: A copy of the exam result that is being used for application 
What are the requirements for Graduation degree applications?

Make sure you have the following documents:

  • Transcripts (including the grading system of the institution)
  • Undergraduate diploma (minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.25/4.00, or an official transcript to demonstrate an equivalent general performance)
  • Two reference letters
  • Letter of Intent in English (A letter clearly stating the purpose for the application)

In the case that original documents are not in English, notarized translations must be provided.

What is the conditional Acceptance letter?

The Conditional Acceptance Letter states that you are conditionally accepted at Cyprus Science University with term that need to be met before your official acceptance can be finalized.

After confirming the deposit payment, you’ll be issued the Official Acceptance Letter.

What is the deposit payment for? Is it nonrefundable?

After the approval of your application, and the conditional acceptance letter being sent, a non-refundable deposit mentioned on your offer letter should be paid.

The deposit is considered as a guarantee of the applicant’s intent to study at Cyprus Science University. This deposit amount will then be deducted from the tuition fee for the registration.

How can I pay my tuition fees?

Cyprus Science University usually offer various methods for paying tuition fees.

Students can pay via bank transfers, online payment gateways and credit card payments.

Does Cyprus Science University have 2 Intakes (Fall & Spring)?

Applications for both undergraduate and graduate programs are accepted twice a year, Fall & Spring

What is the payment plan at CSU?

Cyprus Science University offers a convenient payment installment.

This plan allows you to divide your tuition fees into manageable payments over the course of the semester, easing the financial burden.

Installment plans are given by the Finance department after completion of your registration at CSU.

Does CSU offer any Scholarships?

Our scholarships are designed to alleviate the financial burden of higher education, enabling talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to pursue their dreams without constraints.

All International Students are entitled to get up to 60% scholarship when studying undergraduate or graduate courses at Cyprus Science University.

Do you accept transfer Application?

Transfer student applications or associate degree holders.

Students who hold an Associate Degree or a National Diploma can apply as a transfer student to the Bachelor Degree programs.

The requirements for transfer applications to the CSU are as follows.

  • Transfer applications should be to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th semesters. Associate Degree or National Diploma holders generally start from the 5th semester.
  • The student should not have been dismissed from a University,
  • All required modules should have been completed from previous classes.
  • CGPA should be a minimum of 2.00 out of 4.00 or the equivalent.

Requested Documents

  • Photocopies of Higher Secondary School Certificate / Diploma and Associate Degree or a National Diploma
  • Academic record / mark sheets (transcript)
  • Short course descriptions

In the case that original documents are not in English, notarized translations must be provided.

If you are unable to provide valid original documents at registration, you may not be permitted to register as a student of the University.

Registration Process

What are the required documents for Registration?
  • Passport
  • High School Diploma: A copy of a high school diploma in English or in Turkish.
    Official Transcript: A copy of an official transcript and its translated copy (English or Turkish).
  • Original Hard Copy of Official Acceptance letter
  • 6 photographs
  • Receipt of the first semester tuition fee payment

Original documents must be submitted at the time of registration.

Which English proficiency Certificates are accepted by CSU?

For English degree program applicants:

  • TOEFL score 75
  • IELTS score 6.0
  • Duolingo test
  • If students do not have TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo then he/ she has to take an English Proficiency Exam.

For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level is required.

How much should i pay in order to register at CSU?

In order to register at CSU, student must pay the initial tuition fee.

Resident Permit Process

Do I need to apply for a residence permit?

Please note that if you are planning to stay in North Cyprus for more than 60 days, for any reason, including tourism, you must get a Residence Permit.

It is highly recommended to visit the CSU International Office to apply for residence permit. International office will help you processing your online application for student residence permit.

When can I apply for the student residence permit?

As soon as your registration is completed you must apply for your student residence permit.
