Cyprus Science University Vocational School of Justice started education in the 2016-2017 academic year with the approval of YÖK and YÖDAK.

The establishment purpose of our Cyprus Science University Vocational School of Justice has been determined as training the qualified intermediate manpower needed in various units of the Ministry of Justice and providing in-service training to the personnel who have worked in the Ministry’s Organization.

In our school, which is a vocational higher education institution, various courses in Public Law, Private Law and Vocational Information groups are given at associate degree level in three basic programs.

Our Justice Program is within the body of the Ministry of Justice, with the staff such as the chief executive officer, executive director and deputy executive director, penal execution institutions directorate, penal execution officer, record clerk, in other public institutions, notaries, legal units of banks and other private institutions, law offices has established in order to meet the need for “Justice Professional Staff” qualified intermediate manpower. In addition, if our graduates are successful in the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam), they also have the opportunity to transfer vertically to Law Faculties.

Our Justice Program, which provides vocational higher education at the associate degree level, aims to train the qualified legal personnel needed in the field of law and forensic services in our country in accordance with the curriculum prepared by considering the professional needs of today and the future, with the basic knowledge of law, knowing the application and following the technology.  Our program takes it as a duty to raise graduates who absorb contemporary and universal values, who can update themselves, and who have gained the ability to apply them. In the Justice Program, which is an area with a lot of job opportunities, theoretical and practical information is given by considering the qualifications required by the judicial services. In this context, the curriculum of our program mainly consists of law lessons.
